Crown Gardens has been recently updated but remains true to its Victorian origins. Entering onto the large entrance floor, many of the property's period features are apparent, including the decorative Delft ceramic stove, original cornicing, working shutters, a truly magnificent central staircase and beautiful central cupola. Off the entrance hall is the TV room with a 50” HD Sony TV with surround sound and comfortable couches, beanbags and an electric woodburner effect stove. WiFi is available throughout. There is a double bedroom on the ground floor with adjacent cloakroom and shower. On the first floor, just off the stairs, is a cloakroom and dedicated children's play area, a large, bright & comfortable sitting room with great views over the front of the property and feature mirrors at either side. There is an electric woodburning stove as well as large radiators. The kitchen/dining area is fully equipped with small dining table, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, hob/oven and microwave. The separate dining room seats 10 guests. The second, 'bedroom' floor comprises of the Master Bedroom with en-suite shower room, 2 further double bedrooms and 1 twin room. A Jack & Jill bathroom serves as an en-suite shower room to one of the double rooms and a shared bathroom to the remaining bedrooms. The main bathroom is on the attic floor with bath/shower. The property has a private rear garden and overlooks a leafy park to the front of the property.  Please note no same sex parties are allowed in this property.

Glasgow's West End is a microcosm of all that is great in Glasgow. Within a two mile radius of Crown Gardens, you can experience a reconstruction of Charles Rennie Mackintosh's Glasgow home1, see the largest permanent display of Whistler's artwork2, visit 1 of only 5 remaining Clydebuilt sailing ships (Glenlee)3, see dinosaur artifacts4 and watch a different, live comedy show every night5. And, if you still have time, you have the Tron Theatre, Glasgow Film Theatre, King's Theatre & the Theatre Royal, the Scottish Ballet, the Òran Mór contemporary arts centre complete with auditorium ceiling mural by Alastair Gray, the Botanic Gardens and Glasgow Riddle Rooms; an interactive, multiplayer escape adventure. Byres Road is a shopper's paradise with vintage boutiques, thrift stores, specialist and secondhand shops interlaced with bars, pubs, restaurants and charming cafes serving freshly baked pastries, freshly brewed coffee or a good, old fashioned Scottish fry up. With the Kelvinhall & Hillhead Subway Stations at either end of the road, you are only minutes away from Glasgow City Centre If you prefer to walk, however, the Wee Food & Whisky Walking Tours always help to get the legs moving.
